Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, we are a short line railway (364 kilometres/226 miles) offering complete logistic and transportation solutions.
NB Southern Railway is the only railroad with direct connections from the Atlantic Provinces to the U.S. northeast markets. Well-established alliances with a far-reaching network of rail and truck carriers, provides you with easy, cost-efficient access to all of North America.
Our modern 95,000 square foot distribution centre provides indoor railcar loading and caters to customers who are not directly served by rail. We have a proven track record of providing superior railway transport and truck/rail reload operations to industries that include:
- Lumber, pulp and paper
- Chips and logs
- Automobiles
- Chemicals – calcium chloride and sulphuric acid
- Bulk and Liquid products – grains, gypsum, rock ballast and specialty stone
