Our security program is designed to ensure the highest standard of safety and security at all levels of the manufacturing and transportation process—from our suppliers, within our own manufacturing plants and all along the supply chain to the customer. We work in partnership and cooperation with United States and Canadian Customs organizations to achieve this goal.
NBSR is a certified member of C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partners Against Terrorism) and PIP (Partners In Protection) expediting border clearance between Canada and the U.S.
NBSR has an active security program in place and security awareness training is conducted with our employees, including suspicious activity reporting.
Railcars are stored in secure yards only with seal procedures intact. Business partners are carefully assessed for security procedures. Customers are screened and all railcars must be sealed before leaving a customer location.
NBSR only uses service providers who are reputable and have a record of operating safely and securely.
